Moor Mind Matters LLC is a mental health clinic founded by a local psychiatric nurse practitioner, McKenzie Moor. What started as a friendly hub for psychiatric consultation, supervision, and collaboration quickly became the go-to source for local providers and clinicians to receive support regarding the provision of mental health and addiction medicine in Williston. Before long, consultation services were extended through outreach to the residents at Tioga Nursing Home, making meaningful connections throughout the surrounding communities.

As word got out, students and aspiring professionals started knocking on the door, eager for a chance to learn and gain direct experience providing mental health care. In response, Moor Mind Matters launched a psychiatric preceptorship program. This hands-on adventure gives nurse practitioner and physician assistant students valuable psychiatric clinical hours and real-world experience—helping shape the next generation of mental health leaders with a dash of enthusiasm and heart.

By October 2025, the business was ready for its next big chapter. Moor Mind Matters acquired a small commercial property and began its transformation into a full-fledged psychiatric clinic with a cozy home base in Williston. The grand opening is set for January of 2026, promising comprehensive psychiatric care delivered with expertise and a personal touch—because at Moor Mind Matters, your mind truly matters!
